    Be patient when choosing what goal you’d like to pursue. Making sure you are choosing the right venture is among the most vital steps to ensure success. The dream must spark your excitement and confidence in its potential. More important than your venture choice is how much you believe in the idea. After you have begun the journey, don’t be afraid to make adjustments as you progress. Better to alter and repair things early than after investing more time and money.

    Rami Beracha’s advice to students studying at the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya is based on his own life experiences. When he was a young man Rami was adamant about pursuing a law degree. He wasn’t sure that he would like to pursue law, but he continued his studies and obtained a Master’s degree in New York. After that the law firm, he was employed by an international law firm. He came to realize that he had a passion more for business than he did law when he was working at a Wall Street law firm. He decided to quit his job and moved to France to complete an MBA.

    Following her graduation in the year 1996, Beracha was a part of the Venture Capital Fund Pitango. It is Israel’s biggest venture capital firm. Pitango focuses on companies that are in their initial stages developing core areas of high-tech with more than 200 investments and 85 exits so far. Rami became managing partner in 2000 and for the next 18 years, he was responsible for many deals that led to success in the exits of Fortune 500 companies like Broadcom, Marvel, Cisco and Apple.

    It didn’t end there. Globes presented Beracha with the “Esteemed Partner Award” in 2011 to recognize him as an influential investor. Rami started a new initiative known as Sosa in 2014. Sosa hosts innovation centers in New York (and Tel Aviv) which work with entrepreneurs from around the world and help innovative high tech companies. Sosa was recently chosen to construct and manage New York City’s cyber center.

    Rami Beracha believes in the possibility of finding new opportunities, even though the business environment has been difficult for the past few years since the coronavirus was first discovered. He recommends searching for new companies that could have a substantial digital disruption that could be “Covid Long”.

    Beracha has several new projects in the pipeline. Beracha, along with a few business partners, has recently launched an London blockchain venture capital investment fund. After helping to shape Israel into a global high-tech hub, Beracha is ready to take his business to a wider market. Beracha’s business model is in line with the fund’s new outlook. The fund claims that they “know the technology, but only invest in mission-driven individuals.” They hope to find motivated companies that will help blockchain find its right position at the forefront of innovative concepts pushing the world forward.

    Beracha is planning to launch a Middle Eastern fund for venture capital. In the wake of the Abraham Accords that Israel and the United Arab Emirates recently signed and he is convinced that it’s the ideal time to make a bet on the Arab market. Dubai is a highly-modern and prosperous city, is the ideal place to start. The new fund, Ender Ventures as he calls it, will join Israeli as well as European Investors to support UAE high tech companies that specialize in virtual reality, artificial intelligence and robotics. Unique in its business outlook, the United Arab Emirates is a distinct country. Because of the low tax rate for business and the law that is business-friendly, it will likely attract many companies to its doors over the next few years.

    Ramiberacha’s tense past

    Although Rami Beracha appears to have succeeded in every endeavor that he’s set his eyes on, his road has not been easy. As with many Israelis, Beracha joined the army at the age of a young. He was a Paratrooper’s Brigade combat soldier and fought in the Lebanon War. Rami was part of a rescue group which helped wounded soldiers on a minefield. It was 1983. Rami fell into a concealed mine, and he was unable to walk and his hand.

    His time in hospital rehabilitation was among the most challenging of his life. He couldn’t walk , and was depressed and gloomy. The hopes of building his army career were lost to him. He was unsure of who he was. The suffering of Rami helped him find the passion and drive to keep living and dream up new ones. Rami decided to make his life better and more enjoyable than it was prior to his injuries. Rami decided to take on other extreme sports. He now enjoys snowboarding, kitesurfing as well as climbing up Mount Kilimanjaro. He’s always striving to improve his abilities and feels like his old unwounded self is pushing him on.

    Rami donates to and participates in numerous organizations. He is also committed to helping young soldiers like him, get wounded in combat. In the year 2016 Rami led an army of soldiers who were injured during their military service in a trip to Nepal. In the year 2018, Rami was elevated to the rank of Major within the Israeli Army’s Paratrooper as well as Fire Brigades. In spite of all the difficulties he faced, his dreams were realized as a young man. His story and passion can be a source of inspiration for others. Rami did not let the injuries to deter himfrom learning and trying different things until he became stronger than ever.
