MIAMI(CBSMiami), Ukraine war may be on other side of the planet, but South Floridians can assist those seeking refuge.

Many Sunny Isles Jewish residents are raising money and are helping organize a massive humanitarian campaign.

Many of the humanitarian efforts are being led from Sunny Isles, South Florida.

The situation is made worse by the fact that Moldova is believed to be one of the most poor countries on the planet. However, those who take participating in this effort claim that they will never stop helping.

Grinshpun said, “When our Ukrainian brothers and sisters arrived, we didn’t need to think about it. We just started doing it.”
