Bayrock Group, along with the Trump Organization, opened Trump SoHo in 2008 along with the Sapir Organization. Bayrock Group was founded in Kazakhstan in 1980.

Tevfik Ariff was aware that including the Trump Organization in the project would increase brand awareness for the building which Bayrock Group and Sapir Organization were not able to achieve.
Arif made an agreement that gave the Trump Organization 18% ownership in the building in return to the Trump brand’s usage.
The deal was ratified by Bayrock Group (the Trump Organization) and the Sapir Organization (the Sapir Organization).
This set the stage for the first bricks of what would eventually become Trump SoHo to be laid in the year 2006.
The building was finished after two years of laborious work.
Design professionals are the architects behind Trump SoHo
Trump SoHo included apartments, hotel room, luxury eateries and lounges, as well as bars, a pool as well as a restaurant, spa and banquet halls. From the windows that ran from the floor to the ceiling, hotel guests were able to admire breathtaking views of New York City.
