It is important to take your time when selecting a dream. One of the most crucial aspects of success in any project is to be sure that the venture is right for you. Pitango is an investment fund that invests in early stage companies, in the high-tech core industries. It has over 200 investments and has 85 exits. Rami was named managing Partner in the year 2000. Over the course of 18 years, Rami managed dozens deals that resulted in exits to large corporations in the Fortune 500 like Broadcom (Marvel), Cisco, Cisco, and Apple.

Then he didn’t stop there. In 2011, the Globes gave Beracha the “Esteemed Partner” award, honoring him for the powerful investor that he had become. Rami established Sosa, a new initiative in 2014. The United Arab Emirates’ business outlook is unmatched. The low tax rate and the favorable laws for business are sure to make it a magnet for many businesses in the coming years.

While Rami Beracha seems to be accomplished in everything he has been pursuing but it wasn’t always that easy. Beracha was a soldier as an infant, like most Israelis. He served in the Paratrooper’s Brigade as a combat soldier, and fought during the Lebanon War. In 1983, shortly following the war, Rami was part of an emergency rescue team that was sent to aid wounded soldiers in a wild minefield. Unfortunately, Rami stepped on a hidden mine and was unable to walk and also lost his hand in the incident.

He was hospitalized for rehabilitation, and it was among the most challenging times in his life. He couldn’t move and was overcome by sadness and depression. His dreams of becoming an army officer seemed unrealized and he lost all sense of his self. Rami did manage to get over his pain and find the determination to continue living and pursue new dreams. He determined to be stronger and healthier than he was prior to his injuries. Rami was determined to explore new extreme sports. Today he enjoys kitesurfing as well as snowboarding. He has also hiked up Mount Kilimanjaro. He sometimes feels like his past that is unresolved has pushed him ahead, even as the effort to get better.

Rami gives donations to and volunteers in many organisations and is committed to helping young soldiers like him, who were injured in combat. Rami was part of a group who suffered injuries during his time in the army during the Nepal trip in the year 2016. In the year 2018, he was promoted to the rank of major in the Israeli army’s paratrooper and the fire brigades. His childhood dreams had come true, despite all the challenges. His passion and life story are an inspiration to others. Rami was determined not to let his injuries slow him down. He continued learning and experimenting until he became stronger than ever.
