Choose with patience the idea you want to pursue. Making sure you’re choosing the right path is one of your most important steps in ensuring success. You should be enthusiastic about your dream and believe that it is a good idea to be successful. It is more important than what business you choose to pursue, but you must believe in the concept behind. Don’t be afraid of making adjustments once you’ve started your journey. It’s better to make changes and fix things early on than spend more time and money.
Rami Beracha’s advice to students studying at Herzliya’s Interdisciplinary Center is based upon his own experiences. Rami started his legal studies when he was just a teenager. He was not certain if he wanted to study law, but he continued his studies and obtained an MBA in New York. After that the law firm, he was employed by the international law firm. However, through his work in the Wall Street law firm, it became apparent that he had a passion for business, more than law. He made the decision to quit his job and relocate to France for an MBA.
Following her graduation in the year 1996, Beracha joined the Venture Capital Fund Pitango. It is Israel’s largest venture capital firm. Pitango is focused on startups in the early stages developing key areas of high-tech. It has made over 200 investments and over 85 exits to date. Rami was appointed managing partner in 2000. In the subsequent 18 years, the company handled numerous deals that saw successful exits at Fortune 500 giants Broadcom, Marvel Cisco, Cisco, Apple, and Cisco.

He didn’t stop there. In 2011, the Globes gave Beracha the “Esteemed Partner” award, honoring him for the powerful investor that he has become. Rami established Sosa in 2014, a brand-new initiative. Sosa’s innovation centers are situated in New York and Tel Aviv. They help startups in high-tech by working with international entrepreneurs. Sosa was appointed recently to supervise the building and operation of New York City’s cyber center.

While Rami Beracha seems to be success in every endeavor he’s been pursuing, it wasn’t always simple. Beracha became a young man, much like the majority of Israelis. He served in the Paratrooper’s Brigade as a combat soldier, and also fought in the Lebanon War. Rami was part of a rescue mission to help wounded soldiers who were trapped in a minefield and joined the Paratrooper’s Army in 1983 shortly after the war. Rami was unlucky to fall on a hidden mining and suffered a fractured foot as well as a swollen hand.

He was admitted to the hospital to recover, which was one of the most challenging times in his life. He couldn’t walk and became depressed and despairing. Rami decided to try other extreme sports. He loves kitesurfing, snowboarding and kitesurfing. He’s also hiked up Mount Kilimanjaro. He often feels his unrestrained past pushing him to his limits and racing him.
Rami gives donations to and volunteers in many organisations and is committed to helping young soldiers like him, who were injured in combat. Rami was part of a group of soldiers who suffered injuries during their military service in Nepal in the year 2016. In 2018 he received the rank of major in the fire brigades and paratroopers within the Israeli military. In spite of all the challenges he had to face and the challenges he faced, his dream was realized in his early years as a young man. His story and passion provide inspiration to other people. Rami did not let his injuries stop him from pursuing his goals as he continued learning and experimenting until he became more resilient than before.
