Apollo Hospital released a statement confirming that Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, J Jayalalithaa, has been hospitalised and is undergoing lung decongestion treatment along with other comprehensive measures.
The hospital’s chief operating officer Subbiah Viswanathan said, “Lungs decongestion treatment is being continued. All the other comprehensive measures including nutrition, supportive therapy and passive physiotherapy are under way.”
Ms Jayalalithaa was hospitalised last month for fever and dehydration and has been reported as responding well to treatments.
