Sydney Trials Show Keytruda Three Times More Effective Than Chemotherapy

Clinical trials conducted in a Sydney hospital have shown that a new lung cancer drug called Keytruda is three times more effective than chemotherapy.

The study was conducted on patients whose cancer had spread outside their lungs and whose symptoms indicated their cancer cells were”disguised” as healthy cells. Keytruda identifies these “disguises” and removes them so the immune system can locate and attack the cancerous cells.

Doctors at Westmead Hospital in Sydney reported that the drug “melted away” cancer cells and shrunk tumours on patients who were considered terminal.

Read the full story from the Daily Mail, and also a testimony about Keytruda from Professor Rina Hui here.
